Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using SyncBrain AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

SyncBrain AI provides personal AI assistant agents accessible via Telegram, Android app, browser extension, and web dashboard. Your agent can remember conversations, store files, manage reminders, track location (with your permission), and perform various tasks on your behalf within the scope of your subscription tier.

3. Beta Status

SyncBrain AI is currently in Early Access Beta. This means:

  • Features may change, be added, or be removed
  • Occasional downtime or service interruptions may occur
  • We actively improve the service based on user feedback
  • Founding members who subscribe during beta lock in their pricing

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. One account per person — do not share your agent with others.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
  • All plans include a 7-day free trial
  • You may cancel at any time — access continues through the end of your billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us
  • We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscribers (existing subscribers keep their rate)

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SyncBrain AI to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or access controls
  • Use the service for automated spam, scraping, or abuse
  • Store content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the apps or service
  • Use the VPN feature for any purpose other than connecting to your SyncBrain agent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Your Data

You own your data. We store it to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

You can view, edit, and delete your data at any time through the My Data dashboard, the mobile app, or by talking to your agent.

8. AI-Generated Content

Your agent's responses are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude). While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. You should:

  • Not rely on AI responses as professional medical, legal, financial, or tax advice
  • Verify important information independently
  • Understand that AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete

9. Location and Health Features

Location tracking and health vitals storage are entirely optional features. By enabling them, you acknowledge that:

  • Location data is collected only while the feature is enabled and is stored on your server
  • Location sharing with contacts requires your explicit per-contact permission
  • Health information is stored for your convenience and is not a medical record
  • We are not a healthcare provider and health features do not constitute medical advice

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We recommend keeping copies of critical information outside the service.

11. Intellectual Property

SyncBrain AI, its code, design, and brand are the property of Charles Brock. Your data and content remain yours — we claim no ownership over information you provide to the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

SyncBrain AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months before the claim
  • We are not responsible for actions taken based on information provided by your AI agent

13. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted unless you request immediate deletion.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.

15. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via your agent. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
